LoanInspection: Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of the LoanInspection website and tool (the "Service"), operated by Know My Loan, LLC, doing business as LoanInspection ("LoanInspection," "we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. You accept them by checking the agreement box before uploading a document. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is, and is not
LoanInspection is an educational software tool. You upload a mortgage Loan Estimate and purchase a one-time report: a plain-English reading of the costs and a comparison to public market data, which is part of every report. LoanInspection is not a lender, is not a mortgage broker, and is not your financial, legal, or tax advisor. Nothing on the Service is: a loan offer, a commitment to lend, a rate quote, or an approval; individualized financial, legal, tax, or mortgage advice; or a guarantee of any rate, term, savings, or outcome. No lender or loan officer is involved in the Service. We do not sell leads, we do not refer you to anyone, and no one pays us to influence your report.
2. The AI analysis: what it uses, and what it never uses
The reading and the comparison are generated by artificial intelligence using only two kinds of input: (a) the Loan Estimate you upload and the scenario answers you provide, and (b) published mortgage market data: Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data, Optimal Blue Mortgage Market Indices (OBMMI), and pricing adjustments published by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Nothing else influences the analysis. No lender, broker, advertiser, or other party pays to affect it, and it is not designed to favor any company, product, or outcome. The comparison is descriptive: it indicates where your costs and rate appear to sit relative to public data for similar scenarios. It is an educational estimate, not advice, a quote, or a guarantee, and it may be incomplete or inaccurate: the AI may misread a document or miscompute, so there is a margin for error. Your actual options depend on a full review by a licensed professional. Do not make financial decisions based solely on the Service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and located in the United States. You may use the Service only for your own lawful, personal purposes.
4. Purchase, delivery, and availability
The report is a one-time purchase. No account is created and there is no subscription. Payment is processed by Stripe; your card details go directly to Stripe and we do not receive or store your full card number. Your report is delivered on screen and by a link sent to the email address you provide at checkout, and can be saved as a PDF. The report remains available at its link for 7 days after delivery, after which it is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. The document you uploaded is deleted after your report is delivered. If something goes wrong with your purchase or delivery, contact support@loaninspection.com and we will make it right.
5. No professional advice
The Service is for general education only and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed mortgage, financial, legal, or tax professional. Consult one before acting. Any questions regarding available loan options, rates or fees should be directed to a licensed mortgage professional.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to upload only a document you have the right to share, and not to misuse the Service (including no attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, automate bulk submissions, or gain unauthorized access).
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its content, and its software are owned by Know My Loan, LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service and your report for personal purposes. You receive no other rights.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service or any analysis will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Know My Loan, LLC and its members and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits or savings, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us or US $100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Know My Loan, LLC and its members and providers from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Governing law, dispute resolution, and class-action waiver
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Informal resolution first. Before starting an arbitration, you agree to first contact us at support@loaninspection.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve the dispute informally.
Binding individual arbitration. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Know My Loan, LLC agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except as stated below. The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. You and we each waive the right to a trial by jury.
Class-action waiver. You and we agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or otherwise preside over any class or representative proceeding.
Exceptions. Either party may (a) bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and (b) seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or to stop unauthorized access to or misuse of the Service.
30-day right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration and class-action-waiver section within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@loaninspection.com with your name and a statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.
Severability of this section. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) will proceed in court rather than in arbitration; the remainder of this section stays in effect.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms and will post the new effective date and version number. Material changes will be made clear on the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
